A "Ride About"?

OK, I was feeling my nearly 5 week trip across Europe was somewhat adventurous until I ran into this guy on the ferry.  He is riding his bike from Holland to Rome.  That's 2,400 kilometers or about 1,500 miles.  He is doing it in 3 weeks, so that's about 60 miles per day.  Hard to say, but he must be at least 60.  Everything with him is on the bike behind him.  He had just come over the Alps, which is quite an accomplishment, so he was feeling good and now only has a few more days to Rome.  Think about that next time you go for a bike ride.
