The Night Watchman

Rothenburg is a great city, but there is not much to do in the evening and one thing that has become quite popular is the Night Watchman's tour.   In medieval times, there were always night watchmen that would roam the streets, making sure doors were locked and sound an alarm in case of fire.

The same guy has been doing this tour for 25 years and it is part history (with borderline facts) and part comedy act.  He's referred to as Rothenburg's Jerry Sienfeld.  It was pretty good and drew quite a crowd.  It's a walking tour with commentary and he had almost 100 people.  Not bad at 7 euro a head.
