Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum

This was an interesting stop with a large parking lot and it was packed.  Apparently, a popular venue.  It is a historic open air museum of the history of farming in Germany.  It has a series of buildings from the 1400's to 1600's.  Some are original to the site, some were relocated.  It was very interesting.  Unlike the clock museum, they had a very good audio guide in English for a nominal fee.  That made the visit much more enjoyable.  They talked about he culture and family life from those periods and some of the history on the individual houses.  I really enjoyed this stop.

The original farm house on site, from the 1600's.  It has a sod roof
and is multiple stories with the stable below and living space above

From the literature at the site, these hats appear to be from that period,
but when I first saw the two ladies, I thought it might be sorority hazing.
